Gary W. Beem
Gary founded Northwest Commercial Mortgage Company in 1989 with Dave Pontius after working at George Elkins Company, Peoples Bank Mortgage and Rainier Mortgage (Security Pacific Bank). Gary's major production responsibilities at each of these institutions included commercial loan placement with correspondent life insurance companies and construction lending through the banks. He received his BA in Economics from The University of Washington in 1974. Gary currently sits on Principal Global Investors Debt Advisory board and has been active on local civic committees. He is also a member of various trade associations in the community.
David M. Pontius
Dave co-founded Northwest Commercial Mortgage Company in 1989 with Gary Beem. Dave and Gary worked together during their years at Rainier Mortgage (Security Pacific Bank). Dave focused on income producing properties with an emphasis in construction and permanent lending for the bank portfolio, as well as permanent loan placements with correspondent life insurance companies. Prior to those years, Dave worked at a stock brokerage and commercial bank for over ten years, as well as First Interstate Bank in the early 80's. He received a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame in 1965 and a MBA from San Jose State University in 1968.
Bryan J. Foxley
Bryan joined Northwest Commercial Mortgage Company in 2003. Bryan focuses on brokering income producing properties to institutional lenders. Bryan has a rich background in FNMA DUS multifamily closings, as well as conduit and life company originations. Bryan was with Peter Wong Associates for several years after coming from Continental (now Homestreet Capital) - where he originated, analyzed, underwrote and packaged both permanent and construction loans for five years. Prior to Continental, Bryan was responsible for originations in the Washington and Oregon market for Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company. He received a BA in Business and Economics from the University of Puget Sound in 1978.
Doug Thatcher
Doug joined Northwest Commercial Mortgage Company in 1989 as an analyst after working in mortgage loan servicing at Peoples Bank Mortgage and at Bellingham National Bank (Key Bank), where Doug was Assistant Controller. Today he originates and underwrites new mortgages in all the companies programs and oversees a $180,000,000 loan servicing portfolio. He received a BA in Economics from University of Washington in 1985 and a MBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1987.
Jon Beem
Jon joined Northwest Commercial Mortgage Company in 2008 after working as a credit manager at Wells Fargo Financial. His everyday duties consist of mortgage loan underwriting, FHA mortgage loan origination, and is an assistant loan servicer while maintaining a Washington State Real Estate license. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 2008 with a BA in Business and a minor in History.
